I became a part of Repairing the Breach, as a young middle school student, in 2001 after connecting with Tony and Felecia Wade at Corry Middle School. I was very guarded and broken from a traumatic childhood, but I felt something different with the two leaders. I was elated for them to mentor me and assist me with the brokenness, bitterness, anger, and depression I was facing along with the death of my stepfather. On a consistent basis, they ministered the word of God to me and loved on me as one of their own. God knew exactly what I needed in that time of my life to put a demand on fulfilling the plan and purpose God placed in my life. Having two leaders who saw me not where I was but where I was going exemplified the true love of God. With the impact made from Repairing the Breach, my life has transcended in such a mighty and powerful way which I have made a mandate that any decision made for my life will not be done without first hearing from God and receiving his guidance. Who would have known the angry, fighting little girl in school would now get the opportunity to come back and pour into the youth of today the same thing that was instilled in me over 18 years ago.
